SKILL.md inside it: a name, a description of when to use it, and Markdown instructions. The agent loads a skill on its own when the work matches, or you can invoke it by name in chat.
Open Settings → Providers, select a provider, and open Skills. Hermes Agent, Oh My Pi, Devin, Pi, Reasonix, and Antigravity have no Skills tab.
The location picker at the top chooses whether you are managing skills for every workspace on the host (Global) or for one workspace.
Import Skills
Click Add skill. The dialog starts with an import step.1
Paste a source
In Skill source, paste an
npx skills command, an owner/repo, a git or tree URL, or a folder path. Then click Add skill.2
Pick the skills
The host clones or copies the source and lists every
SKILL.md it finds. Select the ones you want. Selecting a skill you already have replaces it with the version from this source.3
Install
Click Install N skills.
Write A Skill
In the Add skill dialog, choose “or write one from scratch”.- Enter a Name. Use lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens, for example
review-pr. The name becomes the folder name and the command you type in chat. - Enter a Description. The agent reads it to decide when to use the skill.
- Write the Markdown Instructions.
- Choose who can use it under Available to:
- Every provider stores the skill once in the shared skills folder, where any agent that reads it picks it up.
- The provider’s own option, for example Claude Code only, stores it in that provider’s own skills folder.
- Click Create skill.
Skill List
Badges show where each skill comes from. Use the filter menu to show or hide each type.
Open a skill to see its Name, When to use, Source, and Instructions. From there you can Edit it and Save changes, Remove it, or, for an imported skill, Update from source. If you edited an imported skill, updating asks before it overwrites your edits.
Use A Skill In Chat
Type/ or $ in the composer to open the same picker.
- At the start of a message, the picker lists skills and the coding agent’s own commands.
- Later in a message, it lists skills only.

Skills and Plugins are separate tabs. Plugins install from a source string; see Plugins.
