Traycer Desktop signs you in through your browser. You approve each sign-in there, so the app never sees your password. You can sign in with GitHub, Google, Apple, or a one-time code sent to your email. The quickest way to sign in the mobile app is to link it from Traycer Desktop. See Mobile App.

Start from the app

On the Welcome to Traycer screen, click Sign in. Traycer opens a sign-in page in your default browser.

Approve in the browser

Sign in to the web page if you are not signed in already. The page asks Approve this sign-in? and shows a code. Check that it matches the code in the app, then click Approve. Click Deny if you did not start this sign-in.

Return to the app

The app shows Waiting for approval until you approve, then finishes signing in on its own.

If the Browser Does Not Open

Expand Use code instead in the app. It shows a Device code and an Approval address. Open the address in any browser, on this machine or another device, and approve the sign-in there with that code.

Sign Out

Open the avatar menu and choose Sign out. To sign out a different device, or every device at once, use Sessions.

Switch Accounts

Sign out, then sign in again. On the approval page, choose Use a different account to sign in to the web page with the other account.
