The Terminals panel is for plain terminal sessions. These are shells you run yourself, not coding agents. Terminal Agents do not live here. They live in Chats. For the full distinction, see Terminal Agents VS Terminals.

Controls

Use the panel to:
  • create a terminal in a selected workspace folder
  • find an existing terminal session
  • rename a terminal
  • stop or delete a terminal session after it exits
Traycer derives a terminal name from its custom title, current folder, shell command, or terminal id. Use terminal sessions for package scripts, tests, logs, local debugging, and one-off commands. Plain terminals do not receive Traycer’s agent prompt, skills, artifact instructions, or agent-to-agent communication tools. Cross-host terminal behavior is covered in Hosts.
