Create A Terminal
Click New terminal (the + in the panel header). The picker has two sections:- Host: the machine the shell runs on.
- Workspaces: the folder the shell starts in. It starts on the Task’s primary folder. Use “Search repo, branch, or path…” to find another.
~/.traycer/epics/<task-id>. The shell program comes from Shell settings; you can’t pass a command when you launch.
Terminal Rows
- Click a row to open the terminal as a tab.
- Drag a row onto the canvas to open it there: onto a tab strip to add it as a tab, or onto the edge of a group to split that group.
- Double-click a row to rename it. Press Enter to save or Esc to cancel.

Closing a terminal’s tab does not end the shell; the terminal stays in the panel. When a shell exits on its own, the terminal leaves the list.
Terminal Names
A terminal’s name, in the panel and on its tab, is the first of these that applies:- The custom name you gave it.
- The folder and the program running in the foreground, for example
api · vim. - The folder and “New Terminal”, when nothing is running in the foreground.
- “New Terminal”.

Select And Copy On A Phone
Tap the terminal to bring up the keyboard and clear any selection. To select text, briefly hold your finger on the output, then drag. Swipe without holding to scroll. Hold longer without dragging, then lift your finger to open the edit menu:- Select selects the word under your finger; it is unavailable over blank space.
- Select all selects the terminal output.
- Copy copies the selected text; select something first to enable it.
- Paste inserts clipboard text into the terminal.
