Usage & Limits
Traycer uses artifact slots (think: a rechargeable battery) to control how many artifacts you can create at once.Key Terms
- Artifact: Any generated output created by Traycer. These include:
- Phase: A new task started with phases mode consumes 1 slot
- Plan: A development plan generated from your requirements (consumes 1 slot).
- Verification: Every fresh verification consumes 1 slot, re-verification does not consume a slot.
- Review: Every review artifact consumes 1 slot.
- Code Generation using Traycer Agent: Every time you use the Traycer Agent to generate code, it consumes 1 slot.
- Slot: Your account’s capacity unit for generating artifacts.
- Recharge Rate: How fast individual artifact slots are replenished after being used. Recharge begins as soon as a slot is consumed.

Enterprise pricing is the same as individual pricing for all plans. It includes:
- Centralized Billing - All team members are billed under a single invoice for easier expense tracking.
- Seat Management - Invite, remove, and manage members from a central dashboard.
- Centralized Remote MCP Connections - Connect and manage servers at the organization level for all team members.
- Org-Wide Privacy Mode - Enforced by default to protect sensitive data.
- Dedicated Support Channel - A private Slack or Discord channel for faster communication and priority support.
Does deleting tasks or artifacts refund my slots?
Does deleting tasks or artifacts refund my slots?
No. Deleting previous tasks, plans, or any generated artifacts does not refund consumed slots. Once a slot is used to generate an artifact, it follows the normal recharge schedule regardless of whether you keep or delete the artifact.

- Upgrades: Immediate effect with prorated billing for the rest of the cycle. You pay the difference between plans for the remaining time in your billing period.
- Downgrades: Take effect after the current billing cycle. No loss of access until then. All generated artifacts remain available permanently.
